Christmas Carol Concert, London

On 10th December, the Santander Shareholder Relations team hosted a Christmas Carol concert at St-Martin-in-the-Fields church, Trafalgar Square, London. Prior to the event shareholders attended a champagne and canapé reception held underneath the church in the building's crypt. At the reception José Rojo addressed the guests with a speech wishing everyone a merry Christmas and speaking briefly about Santander's continued strong performance throughout 2009 and the bank's commitment to maintaining shareholder's dividends.

After the welcome reception shareholders entered the church and took their seats to enjoy the enchanting festive music sung by the Choir of Christ's Colllege Cambridgeshire accompanied by the famous Thames Chamber Orchestra.

Following a brief interval and more refreshments it was then the turn of the congregation to join in the festivities with the singing of classic hymns.
