Golf Final at The Grove 12th and 13th September

The final of the Shareholder British Golf Tour was held at the award-winning Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire and the event was a huge success with more than 30 shareholders enjoying a luxurious experience.  The event started with a black tie dinner, the evening prior to the tournament, which gave shareholders a chance to meet fellow golfers, other guests and their host, Fermin Rezola.

Following a long day on the course, the teams and guests attended an awards lunch to congratulate the winning golfers.  A special mention goes to the highest scoring golfer of the day and winner of the individual golf trophy, Mr P Trundley who finished the day with 37 Stableford points.  A total of £8,437 was raised for charity by the golfers which was matched by Santander UK, so we will be presenting Cancer Research with a cheque for £16,874.  Well done to everyone who took part.
