Dividend Re-investment
As a UK shareholder you can sign up for the Santander Shareholder Account and Dividend Re-investment Plan (SSA). This allows shareholders to have their dividends paid automatically into an account attracting 10% interest p.a. AER (fixed until 1 August 2009). The funds in your SSA are then re-invested on your behalf free of charge either quarterly or annually.

If you choose to have your funds re-invested annually this will take place in May of each year. Shareholders who opt for quarterly re-investment will have their shares re-invested in the following months:
