Santander Shareholder Reward Account (SI1) is perfect if you don’t need access to your money.

• Receive a rate of 2.30% gross/AER (variable) if you need to make one withdrawal in the year, or 2.50% gross/AER (variable) assuming no withdrawals are made.
• Includes a variable rate bonus for the first 12 months, which is currently 2.00% gross/AER.
  
• Save from £500 up to £100,000 in your account.
• You can withdraw from your account at any time. If you make a withdrawal the rate changes to 0.10% gross/AER for that month only on your whole balance.
• Manage your savings at your convenience either through Santander's UK branches, cash machines, over the phone or via online banking.

AER stands for Annual Equivalent Rate and shows what the interest rate would be if we paid interest and added it to your account each year. The gross rate is the interest rate we pay before income tax is taken off. Rates may change and we pay interest each year on the anniversary of account opening.
