Santander Shareholder Account and
Dividend Re-investment Plan (SSA)
What is the Santander Shareholder Account?
An account exclusively for UK shareholders that receives Santander share dividend payments automatically
It pays 10% gross p.a/AER* on dividend balances of £1 in the account, fixed until 1st August 2009, offering great savings
The SSA gives UK shareholders who hold their shares through the Santander Nominee Service the opportunity to reinvest dividends in more Santander shares without having to pay any dealing costs.
No closure penalties or charges
* AER stands for Annual Equivalent Rate and indicates what the interest rate would be if interest was paid and added each year. The gross rate is the rate payable before the deduction of income tax. Interest is paid annually or quarterly. Rates on the SSA are fixed until 1 August 2009
