Shareholders and bank affiliates enjoy a cocktail
reception in Edinburgh with the Santander

The latest shareholder celebration saw the shareholder department travel to Edinburgh to host a cocktail reception at the National Gallery. This cocktail evening was the fourth celebration of 2008 following on from similar events in Glasgow, Swansea, Leeds and Edinburgh.
Around 70 shareholders attended the event hosted by the shareholder department at the National Gallery along with numerous members of Santander who had flown in from Madrid for the celebration and also bank affiliates from the area including staff members of Abbey and local investment professionals. Those who attended enjoyed a cocktail reception followed by more food and drink whilst being able to meet members of the shareholder department. José Rojo, director of the department addressed a speech to those in attendance. Mr Rojo extends his gratitute to all of those who came to enjoy the cocktail reception.
On 23rd April, the shareholder department will be travelling to Oxford for our next event, where we will be hosting a cocktail reception at the Bodleian Library.
