Shareholder Department travels to
Oxford University's famous Bodleian
Library for a cocktail reception with
local Shareholders
On 23rd April the Santander shareholder team hosted their most recent cocktail reception at the Bodleian Library in Oxford. Those shareholders that attended the event were able to take a guided tour of the Library's reading rooms and its famous Convocation House. Roughly 130 shareholders attended, making this a very enjoyable event. Not only were shareholders able to enjoy the company of other shareholders with champage and canopés but they were also able to listen to a speech from José Rojo, director of the department.
Also in attendance meeting shareholders was Luis Juste, the head of Santander's universities program, a scheme which provides financial backing for some of the best performing foreign unversity students in the UK.
Collecting her £5000 'Pass it on' prize was UK shareholder Pat Ellison, pictured below with José Rojo. The destination for the next UK shareholder event will be Bath when the shareholder department will be hosting a similar event at Bath's famous pump rooms.
