Shareholder Department travel to Poole for a
cocktail reception at the Harbour Heights Hotel
On the 25th June, the Santander Shareholder Department travelled to the Harbour Heights Hotel for a cocktail reception with local shareholders. The shareholders who attended enjoyed a champagne and canapé reception at this wonderful venue, with its incredible view from the terrace overlooking the beaches below.
At the event Mr José Rojo, Director of the Santander Shareholder Department, gave a presentation welcoming shareholders to the event and spoke about the recent performance of the bank. Contained in this presentation was coverage of the recent AGM held on the 21st June in which Santander's Chairman, Emilio Botín, announced the bank's plan to achieve a total profit of 10 billion Euros in 2008. Those in attendance were also able to voice any queries they had about being a shareholder to other members of the shareholder team, as well as being able to meet other shareholders and participate in a raffle to win DVD players and Formula 1 merchandise.
