Transferring shares
Transfer your shares to another individual or individuals by way of gift or to next of kin
If you wish to transfer your shares to one or more new holders, within the Santander Nominee Service, by way of gift or on death, you will need to complete the Transfer Form A and post it, along with the Confirmation of Identity Form, to the Santander Nominee Service, Aspect House, Spencer Road, Lancing, West Sussex, BN99 6DA. There is no fee for this service. view form
For the purposes of transferring shares to other individuals or next of kin, the Nominee Service is required by law to confirm the identity of the transferor(s) and transferee(s). Two forms of identification (options suggested on the form) need to be submitted either as original documents or certified copies. You will need to complete the Confirmation of Identity Form and post it to the Santander Nominee Service along with the appropriate Transfer Form and two forms of identification*. view form
Transfer your Santander shares to the Santander Nominee Service from another nominee provider
To transfer your Santander shares to the Santander Nominee Service from another Nominee Provider, complete PART B of the form below and send it to your current Nominee Provider for them to complete Part C and return to the Santander Nominee Service, Aspect House, Spencer Road, Lancing, West Sussex, BN99 6DA. view form. Please note that proof of identity may also be required (please see the preceding paragraph).
Transfer your shares from the Santander Nominee Service to another nominee provider
Complete section one of the form below to instruct the Santander Nominee Service to transfer your Santander shares to another Nominee Service, making sure all the details for any joint holder/s are complete. Then send the form to your chosen nominee provider to complete section 2, enclosing a cheque for £10 plus VAT (£11.50 total) payable to Equiniti Financial Services. view form
Transferring your shares to a depository financial institution (Iberclear/Euroclear)
To instruct the Santander Nominee Service to deliver your Santander shares to your account with a depository financial institution which is a participant in Iberclear or Euroclear, complete section 1 of the form below in full, making sure all details for any joint holder(s) are complete. Then send this form to your chosen depository financial institution to complete Section 2. view form
*Identification is not required if the transferring shareholder is deceased, the transferee has an existing holding in the same security or has the same name and address as the transferring shareholder.
